Use up your Washi tape! -1-

I am a washi tape collector and it is so hard not to take them home when you see a cute design! I know you will all agree with me! And the thing about washi tape is.. you never seem to be able to finish a roll! I bought my first MT washi tape more than 5 years ago and I still have them with me today. They do last forever…and ever…

I have spread my addiction to my friends as well and they always come back to me with the same questions: What do I do with it now? and my answer is always: Use it on Anything.

Vague answer I know so I am starting this ‘using up your washi tape’ project and show you how I use up my supplies :)

I am going to keep all the designs simple with the minimal use of any craft tools so basically you only need some card base, some stamps ( or you can print the font out from a Words document) and a few embellishments maybe.

Pattern Paper Lover

Second post this week. I so deserve a browie point.

This week CAS-ual Friday challenge is totally up my street. I love my pattern paper. It is so much fun ( and quick) to make a card out of pattern paper.

Here is what I made again with  a bargain 6*6 paperpad I found in TK Maxx :)

My own pattern paper

Weekend flew by as usual and I feel like summer is so far away! My table at work is covered with applications for next session at the moment and I am thinking: will I ever finish checking them? ( September maybe?!!)

Anyway, a new challenge for this week at A Passion for PTI ( and I am not late this time, haha) A real challenge I would say because I never really stamp my own background for a card! I am a patter paper girl but I thought I would give it a go. And I am using a stamp that is in Daydreamer which I have never even noticed(!!). And a new colour combo as well.
Challenges really bring you out of your comfort zone!

I am happy how it turned out and I thought I will keep the design simple since the background is so busy.

Positive thinking mode on: it is 5 more days till another weekend and I just ate some chocolate today so life is still good :D

Catch you later.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey- Daydreamer

Paper: Stampin Up- Rose Red

Lovely Monday

4 months to go till my ‘project of the year’, I better hurry up and use my time more wisely from now on! So glad summer is here as well.

Did some photo sessions with my products the other day and I am happy with the result. I finally have time to play with my camera, photoshop for a bit and I am sure the daylight bulb is a big help.

It is nice to be off today and lets celebrate! ( Suppose to enter this card to
A passion for Papertrey as well but I guess I am a bit too caugth up with things this weekend and I am a bit late..Opps..)

Hope you have a nice weekend off and I think I need some rest now after a very busy long weekend and be ready for tomorrow :)

Supplies:

Felt

I can’t believe Easter is over for more than 3 weeks.

And I should blog more, I know. Time just flies! And we finally have some sun in Scotland. Still cold outide if you don;t have a jacket but at least the sun is out! Hurray!

Enough of the weather talk, back to my card, I am entering this card for the A passion for PTI texture challenge.

I pull out some felt which I have not used for a very long time and die cut a little elephant and make a baby card with a pretend polaroid frame.

See, No stamp!

Easter is coming and we have more snow this week. Heavy enough to make your journey to work like hell but not heavy enough to shut the College. Boo.

I am doing CAS-ual Friday challenge again this week! and the challenge is to use no stamps! Easy peasy! Is time to dig in my trash  treasure box. After washi tape, my current passion is 6*6 paper pad! I’ve lots of them and I think I need to use them more often ( like any other things I've got)!!
How about some chevron pattern which is so in trend just now and a Cath kidston inspired pattern?!

3 birds one stamp

Snow, snow, snow. Where I thought Spring is coming, here comes more snow.

Since there is not much to do, I have cosied up in my little flat and made a few cards with a stamp set I bought ages ago.

I am entering A passion for PTI ‘fifty shade of grey’ challenge ( I am not into the book btw..just not my cup of tea, haha) and CAS-ual Friday Chipboard challenge. And i did a father card as well!
